Rochester, N.Y., October 27, 2009 — ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) announced that Christopher Nowotarski, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, has been awarded an American Meteorological Society (AMS)/ITT graduate fellowship. Nowotarski graduated this spring with a degree in meteorology and will pursue a master's in the same field of study at Penn State. He is from Mertztown, Pennsylvania and is a 2005 graduate of Brandywine Heights School. AMS/ITT graduate fellowship winners are selected on the basis of outstanding academic achievement, personal accomplishments and a detailed description of the dissertation topic and proposed research plan.
