Rochester, NY, March 6, 2009 — ITT Space Systems Division announced today that employee Josh DeWyse, test team member in the division's Fort Wayne Indiana office, has been selected by the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) board of directors to join the YLNI Leadership Institute program. DeWyse is one of 24 individuals that have been selected to participate in YLNI's annual Leadership Institute program in 2009. This year, the program will continue to engage and empower young leaders throughout the region through professional development workshops including Maximizing Your Personal Leadership Style, Team Development and Building a Diverse Community. "Josh is one of over 450 people working primarily on state of the art remote sensing systems in the ITT Fort Wayne facility. We encourage and support the growth and development of our employees, not only for the community, but for the progression of our business," said Rob Mitrevski, vice president and director of Commercial and Space Sciences, ITT Space Systems Division. Since 2004, more than 1,000 members have joined the organization with goals to influence the region economically and culturally. Additionally, the organization hosts a variety of philanthropic initiatives to beneficially impact the growth of the community. The first 2009 event was held in February.
