DON'T MISS THE GIANT JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE MODEL
On Display at the Rochester Museum & Science Center August 26-28, 2005
ITT's Space Systems Division has arranged to bring Northrop Grumman's full-sized model of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to the Rochester Museum & Science Center for public viewing.
The JWST is the next generation, outer space orbiting observatory.
ITT is part of the Northrop Grumman led team that will design, build, integrate and test the orbiting observatory. ITT will be doing the integration and test.
The JWST mission is a key component of NASA's Origins program, a series of linked space science missions aimed at answering fundamental questions about the origins of galaxies, stars and planets, and the possibility of habitable, Earth-like planets around nearby stars.
