At that time, ITT created a unique imaging solution that not only took pictures but developed and transmitted them back to earth for analysis. Today, ITT continues to lead innovation in the custom payload business, as demonstrated by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) NextView program-the next series of U.S. commercial imagery satellites. ITT was selected to build the imaging system for two NextView programs-DigitalGlobe's WorldView I and GeoEye's GeoEye-1.
